Excursions / Shipka
This excursion is chosen by tourists who are willing to meet bigger part from Bulgarian history.
The visit of the city of Veliko Turnovo - the old Bulgarian capital as the visit of the only Ethnographical museum on air in Bulgaria 'Etura' representing traditional Bulgarian crafts and also the visit of many of Bulgarian monasteries leaves lots of unforgettable memories and impressions in everyone.
Program:
First day
- 8.15 - departure
- 11.15- visiting the momument in the town of Shipka
- 12.15- visiting the peak of Shipka
- 13.30-15.00- lunch and visiting Ethnographical museum 'Etura'
- 15.30- visiting the Sokolovski monastery
- 16.30- visiting the Drenovski monastery
- 17.30- arrival and registration at a hotel
- 20.00- dinner
Second day
- 8.00 - breakfast
- 9.00- tour around city of Veliko Turnovo
- 11.00- visiting village of Arbanasi
- 14.30- visiting the Kapinovski monastery
- 20.30- arrival back
