Excursions / Sozopol
Sozopol is an ancient town, situated on the South Black Sea coast, 30kn away from city of Bourgas. It is founded 610 years ago B.C. by the Hellens and it`s called by them Apolonia. Later its name has been changed to Sozopolis.
Along all the coast around the town, nature has given generously its treasures. Town of Sozopol is surronded by sea on its tree sides. Located on a small piece of ground the town combines a special fascination of landscape with romantics of old culture, mixing past and present in the word of marvellous.
Wherever you go in Sozopol you are surronded by splendour.
ROPOTAMO - THE BEAUTY RIVER
Situated on South og the town of Sozopol its valley is a park which includes 4 nature reserves. This is most visited object on the South coast.
The river is very beautiful and among the sand dunes can be noticed Sand Lily with vanilla fragrance. Ropotamo vendure is much vital and overgrowth. Nothing fades in this place. Even in dry times this place is full with freshness and energy. On the flat rives surface can be seen the lovely Water Lily.
